Our Local Fitness Challenges feature a range of exercises tailored to suit all fitness levels and abilities. You can expect activities such as functional fitness, stretching, strength training, cardio circuits, and more - but it will always be at a level that is comfortable for you.

Yes, all regular Local Fitness Challenges are free. We believe fitness should be accessible to everyone, which is why LocalFitnessChallenge partner with amazing fitness facilities like JA Fitness to offer these challenges for free as a way to give back to the communities that support our partners. We also have sponsors who can help offset our costs. Our mission is to inspire healthier lives and help you prioritize your well-being.
Plus, our partner gyms like JA Fitness host these challenges to showcase their facilities and build lasting relationships with participants. We all hope that you will love the Local Fitness Challenge so much that you decide to make fitness an ongoing part of your life after the challenge ends. But there is absolutely no commitment or pressure.
As places in each challenge are limited and our partners put these challenges on for free, this means they commit their staff time and their facility, for the good of the community. If you register for one of the challenge slots, that place cannot be given to someone else and cannot be used by a paying member. For this reason, some partners reserve the right to request a small refundable "commitment deposit" to ensure people attend the free sessions they register for.
It’s a win-win for everyone involved—you get a great fitness experience for free, and our partners get the chance to welcome new members into their fitness family!
The challenges typically run for 14 days. And no, you don’t need to attend every single workout.
During your registration meeting, you’ll commit to either 3 or 4 free workouts per week based on your schedule and personal goals.
This challenge is free because we’re dedicated to supporting our local community and helping people prioritize their health. Our trainers have helped hundreds of people achieve their fitness goals, but we need you to meet us halfway by committing to your own success.
We ask you to pinky-promise (to yourself and us) to commit to the following for the challenge duration:
Attend your agreed number of sessions each week.
Show up ready to give it your best effort.
